Application and Reservation

  • Is there an additional fee for participating in a party?

    There is no additional charge to attend the party. The Welcome Reception and the Closing Reception are free of charge for those who have registered.

  • What are the payment methods?

    Only credit card payments are accepted.

  • Is there a price for children?

    There is no special fee for children. All participation fees are flat. We will be holding a child care program for children between the ages of 7 to 17. There is an additional fee for this program, so please contact us for details.

  • Can I switch between online and offline?

    You can make changes up to one month before the event. If you would like to make changes, please contact us using the form below.

  • I can't participate anymore, can I cancel?

    Cancellation will be possible by notification until 60 days prior to the event. Fees will be refunded after handling charges are deducted. For more information, please contact us using the form below.

  • Is there a designated place to stay?

    There is no designated accommodation, but you can get a discount if you book through the following website. We recommend lodging near the Ariake Central Tower.

  • Are there any requirements for registration?

    There are no special requirements. Everyone is welcome to apply and attend.

  • Are meals included in the registration fee?

    Lunch will be provided for offline participants only.

  • Are there any facilities nearby where I can leave my child?

  • Is it possible to take photos or videos in the venue?

    It is strictly prohibited to record, photograph, or reproduce images during the lecture for copyright and personal information protection reasons. If you would like to take photos with other participants, please be considerate of their privacy.

About online viewing

  • Are there any recommendations for the connection environment?

    Recommended environment is as follows 1. PC OS: MacOSX with MacOS 10.7 or later, Windows 10, Windows 8 or 8.1 Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge (*) (*) Microsoft Edge may cause viewing problems depending on the viewing environment and browser settings. If you are unable to view the video, please try using a different browser. 2. Internet environment Necessary communication environment (1) Wired LAN connected to a router or hub (recommended) (2) Wi-Fi environment connected to a router (*) (*2) Wi-Fi environment connected to the router (*)If you are using mobile Wi-Fi, cell phone tethering, or stationary Wi-Fi provided by a cell phone company, please check your own contract to make sure there are no communication restrictions before participating.   • I'm worried about the connection method on the day. Is there anything I can do to prepare?

    There is a function that allows you to test the connection in advance. Please refer to the following steps to check your viewing environment before the event date.

  • Do I have to have a microphone or camera to participate?

    Yes. There will be an online session for participants to interact with each other, so please prepare in advance and participate.

  • What should I do if I can't hear the sound when watching online?

    If the microphone symbol on the bottom left of the Zoom screen is set to "mute," please unmute it. Please adjust the volume of your device and the seminar screen. Please adjust the volume of your device or the seminar screen. The audio may be too quiet on some devices, so we recommend using earphones.
    Please try leaving the Zoom webinar and restarting your PC. If there is no audio in other videos, please check the settings on your PC or other devices again.

  • Can I make a recording for online viewing?

    It is strictly prohibited to record, photograph, or reproduce images during the lecture for copyright and personal information protection reasons. However, the seminar operator may take video and photographs for recording purposes.

  • Is it okay to participate with family and friends using a single computer or smartphone?

    Viewing from multiple devices at the same time or by multiple people is prohibited.
    The URL and password for participation that will be sent to you after the application deadline are valid only for the person who has applied. They cannot be transferred to anyone else.
    In the unlikely event that a non-registered participant is watching the event, the participant may be asked to leave the venue.

  • Can I view the contents of the day's session again at a later date?

    We are planning to archive some of the contents. More information will be announced as soon as it is available.

Subcommittee Presentations

  • I've entered a section meeting presentation. When will I know the results of the judging?

    We plan to make an announcement by the end of February 2022.
